  • The model of saw you have
  • The length of the bar – measure from the end of the bar where it comes out of the from of the saw to the very end of the bar, including the chain cutting depth
  • The “pitch” of the chain if you know it – plus the number of chain “drive link” – these are the internal links on the chain loop that run INSIDE the bar groove
  • OR the bar length is usually laser etched onto the bar itself
  • OR the part number is laser etched onto the bar itself
