For a bar to fit your STIHL chainsaw we need to know the following information –

The model of saw you have
The length of the bar – measure from the end of the bar where it comes out of the from of the saw to the very end of the bar, including the chain cutting depth
The “pitch” of the chain if you know it – plus the number of chain “drive link” – these are the internal links on the chain loop that run INSIDE the bar groove
OR the bar length is usually laser etched onto the bar itself
OR the part number is laser etched onto the bar itself
