The Innovative, SILKY YAMABICO, is a dual-purpose
pruning saw with both fine (8 teeth per inch) and coarse (5 teeth per inch)
teeth on one 13-inch, ultra-strong, mono-constructed blade. Whether you are
cutting thin or thick branches, the back teeth (on the top of the blade) can be
used to cut the branch on the underside (undercut) which allows avoiding
splitting and leaving a very smooth surface after cutting. The saw is equipped
with rust-resistant, hard chrome-plated, taper-ground blade with an impulse-hardened
non-set tooth design. The blade is mono-constructed giving strength and
flexibility to the full length of the saw. The precision-ground, razor-sharp
teeth provide fast, clean and extremely smooth cutting action. The hard
chrome-plated blade resists rust and effects of tree resin, and wipes clean
easily. Comfortable non-slip rubber handle absorbs vibration, reduces work

IDEAL
FOR:cutting small to
medium size logs and branches. This saw will do an excellent
job cutting both green and seasoned wood. The 15 1/4 "
(370mm) long blade has been hard chrome plated making it resistant to
the resin from trees and to corrosion. To minimize the risk for binding,
the blade is taper ground (i.e. thicker at the tooth edge, thinner at the back
of the blade). The teeth have been expertly sharpened and set and can
be re-sharpened and reset when needed.
The teeth
are smaller at the heel (near the handle - 5.5 teeth per inch) for an easier
start to your cut, and
gets progressively larger towards the toe (4 teeth per inch) to allow for fast &
aggressive cutting.
The
steel handle is covered with vulcanised rubber to reduce vibration and to
provide for a secure and comfortable grip. Overall length is
24". The saw comes with a custom scabbard equipped with a
strap attachment.
